The Sacramento Kings focus on highlighting prevention strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of all community members by prioritizing mind health, encouraging positive choices in nutrition and increasing physical activity to help create a healthy lifestyle.

Education

Through various programs and partnerships, the Sacramento Kings bring innovative practices, activities and mentorship to area youth to further their education.

Social Justice

The Sacramento Kings have an extensive history of speaking out about issues of social and racial injustice, promoting civic engagement and a track record of partnering with the community to impact change. The Kings are dedicated to doing the work and remain focused on being a part of the solution through sustained action.

Sustainability

The Sacramento Kings are grounded in their commitment to sustainability, working to promote food literacy, eliminating food waste by donating unused/unprepared food to those in need and furthering environmental efforts to make a positive impact in the Sacramento community and beyond.

Jr. Kings

Jr. Kings

Through the Sacramento Kings Jr. Kings camps, clinics and leagues, children ages 6 -14 learn to develop basketball skills, improve their physical fitness, develop self-confidence and have fun. The Jr. Kings program uses the best local and national trainers to teach the fundamentals of basketball and use the sport to instill core character values.

LIFT

LIFT

The Sacramento Kings support an organization-wide commitment to Lead, Inspire, Flourish and Thrive (LIFT) through volunteerism. Kings employees are encouraged to dedicate 50 hours volunteering with various nonprofits throughout the Sacramento region. In total, Kings employees gave back over 4,500 hours of volunteer time throughout the previous year.
